Meet Our Board: A Moment That Felt Like Purpose in the Room

This recent board meeting at Beyond The Seed was more than just a meeting on the calendar. It felt like a reminder of why this work exists in the first place.

From the very beginning, the tone was clear: this was strictly about God’s business. No distractions, no rush, just a group of women coming together with one heart and one mission. And honestly, one of the most beautiful parts of it all was simply being in the room together.

We’ve done plenty of meetings on Zoom and even platforms like Clubhouse, but this time was different. Being face-to-face changed everything. There was laughter, real conversation, eye contact, and a kind of connection that you just can’t fully capture through a screen. It felt human. It felt grounded. It felt right.

We were missing two of our board members in this meeting, and their presence was definitely felt. Even in their absence, there was a shared understanding that we are still one team, one vision, and one assignment. We’re looking forward to having everyone together again soon.

Each Woman, Placed with Purpose

What stood out even more was the reminder that none of this is random. Each board member has been placed with intention within Beyond The Seed.

These are women with different strengths, different stories, and different areas of expertise, but all carrying the same heart for God and the same commitment to the mission. Watching them operate in their calling, even in something as simple as a board meeting, is something I don’t take lightly.

There’s a deep sense that God didn’t just bring people together; He assigned them here.

Gratitude That Runs Deep

As I sat in that room, I found myself just pausing in gratitude.

Grateful for the obedience of each woman who said “yes." "Grateful for the heart behind their service. Grateful for the unity that is forming in real time.

And honestly, I was in awe; not because everything is perfect, but because God was clearly at work. You can feel it in the conversations, in the ideas being shared, and in the way each person showed up with sincerity and purpose.

More Than a Board—It’s a Calling

This doesn’t feel like a typical board structure. It feels like a group of women being shaped together for something bigger than themselves.
