As the Little Blossoms of Grace wrapped up our first beautiful season, our hearts were filled with gratitude, joy, and excitement for all that God has done through these precious young ladies.
Our final workshop of the season welcomed a special guest, Grace, as we gathered together for a day of learning, creativity, fellowship, and spiritual growth. We began our time in prayer and reflected on a lesson previously taught by Mrs. Candace about worship through flags. The girls eagerly recalled that the color pink represents God's love—His sweet, bubbling love that surrounds us each day.
The focus of our final session was one of the most powerful gifts God has given us: prayer.
Together, we explored what prayer means, where we can pray, who we should pray for, how to pray, and the importance of believing in the power of prayer. The girls openly shared how they pray at school, at home, and for family members, friends, and others in need. Their willingness to share their personal experiences created a beautiful atmosphere of trust and encouragement.
One particularly special moment occurred when Ra'Maya shared how she feels about praying in front of her friends. Through the leading of the Holy Spirit, I was able to share Luke 9:26 with her in a child-friendly way. After hearing the Scripture, Ra'Maya thoughtfully explained what the verse meant to her. The conversation that followed was a wonderful reminder of how important it is to help children understand God's Word and apply it to their everyday lives.
As the lesson continued, the girls learned and practiced The Lord's Prayer. To help them remember it, they decorated colorful Lord's Prayer pinwheels that they proudly took home. The creativity didn't stop there! Each Blossom also decorated her own prayer box using inspirational Christian phrases, flowers, feathers, and rhinestones.
These special keepsakes became more than just crafts—they became tools for their spiritual journey.
Each girl left with:
A copy of The Lord's Prayer
A personalized prayer box to hold prayer requests and reminders of those they are interceding for
A prayer journal where they can write or draw their prayers to God
Our day concluded with food, fellowship, laughter, and reflection. The girls shared what they learned and what they enjoyed most about the workshop. Listening to their responses filled my heart with joy and reminded me why Little Blossoms of Grace is such a special ministry.
Throughout this season, we had the privilege of serving six beautiful Blossoms of Grace: Na'Lani, Olivia, Ra'Maya, Brandi, Naomi, and Grace.
Each child brought her own unique personality, gifts, and perspective. It has been amazing to witness how God carefully selected the lessons, the teachers - Mrs. Candace and Mrs. Val, and me - and the young ladies He desired to nurture during this season. Watching these girls grow in confidence and understanding of God's love has truly been a blessing.
Our season Scripture, Ephesians 2:10, has come alive before our eyes:
"For we are God's masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things He planned for us long ago."
This verse has helped our Blossoms understand that they are not only created by God and deeply loved by Him, but that each one of them is uniquely designed with purpose. God made them all differently, yet beautifully, and there is great beauty in being God's masterpiece.
One of the greatest joys has been hearing Na'Lani confidently declare that truth with boldness and authority. Moments like these remind us that seeds are being planted, roots are growing deeper, and young hearts are beginning to embrace their God-given identity.
As we close this season, we thank God for every lesson learned, every smile shared, every prayer spoken, and every seed planted.
We look forward to welcoming both returning and new Blossoms when Little Blossoms of Grace resumes in October 2026. We are excited to see what God has planned for the next season and the young lives He will bring our way.
Thank you to all the parents, volunteers, supporters, and prayer partners who continue to encourage this ministry. Your support helps us create a space where young girls can grow in faith, confidence, and understanding of God's love.
Stay tuned to see what's blooming next for Little Blossoms of Grace in Fall 2026!
With love and gratitude,
